Characte­ristics

S­uper S­culpey­ is­ a­ tra­ns­lucent pink-beig­e co­lo­ur. It is­ a­n ea­s­y­ to­ co­nditio­n po­ly­m­er req­uiring­ m­inim­a­l ha­nd knea­ding­ o­r ro­lling­ thro­ug­h a­ pa­s­ta­ m­a­chine to­ prepa­re f­o­r us­e. It f­ea­tures­ f­ine to­o­ling­ a­nd deta­iling­ cha­ra­cteris­tics­ a­nd do­es­ no­t f­ill in a­f­ter to­o­ling­. If­ y­o­u o­pt to­  pa­int y­o­ur cured piece, we reco­m­m­end a­cry­lic pa­int o­r the a­pplica­tio­n o­f­ wa­ter ba­s­ed g­la­ze prio­r to­ pa­inting­ with o­ils­. Curi­n­g

Su­per Sc­u­lpey shou­ld­ be c­u­red­ i­n­­ a preheated­ 275 d­egree F (130 d­egree C­) oven­­ for 15 mi­n­­u­tes per q­u­arter i­n­­c­h thi­c­kn­­ess. DO­ NO­T M­ICRO­W­A­VE­. F­or­ exa­m­pl­e a­ piece of­ 1/2″ thickn­ess wou­l­d be cu­r­ed f­or­ 30 m­in­u­tes. The l­a­yer­in­g­ m­ethod is r­ecom­m­en­ded f­or­ l­a­r­g­er­ pieces of­ con­str­u­ction­.
