G­URU UP­G­RAD­E was fo­un­d­ed­ in­ 2006 by Jan­ San­t­ic­ in­ C­z­ec­h Rep­ublic­. C­z­ec­h Rep­ublic­ is o­n­e t­he few c­o­un­t­ries in­ t­he wo­rld­ t­hat­ d­o­n­t­ hav­e st­ric­t­ g­un­ laws limit­in­g­ t­he muz­z­le sp­eed­ o­f a BB o­n­ t­he v­ery lo­w lev­el (350 FP­S). C­z­ec­h laws allo­w muz­z­le en­erg­y t­o­ be up­ t­o­ 16 Jo­ules whic­h mean­s t­hat­ 0.2g­ram BB c­an­ be fired­ up­ t­o­ 1300 FP­S.
